Just thought I would start this thread to be able to share funny stuff with others. We could all have a laugh and lighten up the forum.

I will start....Monday morning I woke up running late for work. I went into the bathroom and went to spray deodorant on (yes I use the stuff) and put the can under my shirt to my armpits but nothing was coming out so I pressed again for roughly about 2-3 seconds. Wondering why nothing was happening I lifted my shirt and found that I picked up the can of shaving cream and my entire armpit and left side of my body covered in shaving cream down to my trousers. After cleaning that up I began to brush my teeth. I was leaning against the bathroom cabinet backwards and when I finished I turned around and saw the toothpaste tube move slightly. Oh no I thought and looked at my backside and yes...I had leant against the tube and squirted some out on my work trousers. Nice way to start the week...

Well, more than once I've poured juice on my cereal instead of milk. Must've been too tired to pay attention

One time I was in a shoe store and saw these nice formal shoes. The problem was they were too small, so I was looking around for larger sizes. I asked the lady "Are these kid's shoes or something? Do you have larger sizes?" She goes, "Those are women's shoes."
In all fairness, they honestly looked like your typical Florsheim men's shoes and I certainly couldn't imagine a woman wearing them..

Lol, that is funny. I sometimes have to ask Karen if the shoes I am looking at are mens just to make sure.

When I was a kid, I went on a 2 week trip with the scouts to Victoria. The scout leader was an Anglican priest and so took us all to church on Sunday. Hymn books were handed out at the start of the service and everything proceeded as normal. After the service, everyone was standing around talking and people were chatting to all the scouts. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see a black man standing there with his hand held out, palm up. Thinking he was saying hello to me, I slapped his hand and mumbled greetings. With a completely deadpan expression he said, "No, give me the hymn book." which I had tucked under my arm. I'm fairly sure I turned bright red as I passed it to him and he continued walking around collecting hymn books from the congregation.

WOW, these are really funny...I'm trying to pick one for me...but being Blonde, there are SOOO many,...hard to pick just one

The other one that was REALLY embarrassing for me was when I was 19 I was in the sound ministry. Well we had a variety night on a Sunday night one service. Bit like a new faces night. There was a schedule of events that I was given and was told to set up the microphones for the band after a certain event. I jumped on stage at what I thought was the right moment and after about a minute realised that the band wasn't getting one the stage. The schedule of events had changed and nobody bothered to tell me about it, the drama was up next. I finished setting up in front of the whole Church looking at me thinking "what is he doing"? very embarrassing to say the least.

oh dear....yes those 'infront of the whole church' are not very pleasant ones!

Ok maybe this ONE time..... I was the male lead for a high school musical called 'Guys and Dolls', my character was Nathan Detroit ( Sinatra played him in the movie version) and in one particular scene I was singing "grey skies are gonna clear up , put on a happy face...etc" to a 'young girl' (another character) to cheer her up. At the end of the song I was supposed to do a roly poly and end up next to her, to which she would smile and laugh and then be all cheered up, song successful.
What actually happend was I sung the song beautifully, to which I am sure there were tears in the audience of close to 1000 school kids (who were from several different schools, during school hours for our warm up matinee our first official performance was that night). I came to the end of the song and commeced my roly poly, with a semi- twist somersault and holding a pike position, anyway during the amzing feat of agility my body was a little to agile for the seat of my pants......And they split, from the crotch to my back showing the audience of 1000 kids and teachers my black jocks (which somehow had turned pink in the wash), needless to say not only was the 'young girl' cheered up but everyone was in fits of laughter and of course, me, being the consumate professional continued on with the show with nothing more than a wink to the audience to signify "I meant that".
Yeah, it was a tad embarassing.

Never saw it but I now remember hearing bout that one!! hehehe

My unsaved friend brought his new girlfriend round to visit. I started off by calling her by the old girlfriends' name, then when I passed her a cup of coffee, my sleeve got caught on the chair back and I spilled the whole cup over her. While apologising, I called her by the old girlfriends' name again.
Must have looked SO nasty from her point of view......

ummm. no... the girl refused to come to my house again (wonder why?) and then they broke up cos my friend went to jail but I don't think I caused any of that LOL..... well I hope not anyway.....
and sadly I have read that book Mythy but clearly didn't retain much of it.
